Calling all DOC members!
DOC is in the midst of strategizing a plan of action to create awareness around the state of our beloved documentary industry. We think the first step is to get the public – your audience – involved and mobilized towards creating some change. However, in order to do that we need you and your brilliant ideas!
Any inspiration for us? As artists and communicators, we need your creative ideas and visual skills. Could you create a campaign video? Draw a cartoon? Write a catchphrase, poem or a song? We’re open to all your ideas, but submissions should do one or all of the following:
– Call on our country’s love of docs
– Capture the idea that the documentary genre is under threat
– Communicate what we want done about it
It is imperative that we move quickly! Send your ideas and submissions to adele@docorg.ca with CAMPAIGN in the subject heading by Monday, January 24th.
